Over the river and through the woods

We went down to Grandma and Granpa's. Tanner drove the tractor with Grandpa. Nathan helped cut down some very tall and very dead poplar trees. One of which we had to dodge to live to tell the tale! Corbin loved feeding the steers apples.

Grandpa watching on as the head boss.

Here is a view of the TALL Poplar, that is big Nathan next to it.

Tanner carving spears and all sorts of boy things.

We hiked Mt. Tempanogas Cave. Corbin did very well. Seth, our cousin from Hawaii was here so he got to come too. Tanner loved have Seth around!

Savannah, Tanner, Corbs and Seth. It looks like Savannah has grown a stalagmite from her head!

Hiking up. It was very pretty.

One way to cool off after a big hike. We ate lunch by the river and I just KNEW Corbs would be tempted. He was and loved it.

This makes me want to visit my parents' house! Plus I really want to hike to Mt. Timp cave next summer. Are you in?

That is cracking me up. I would have stripped the kids down and let 'em at it too! Such a fun trip!

Melissa, you hiker woman you! You are such a trooper. I remember how much you always loved hiking. It's so good to share things we love with our kids isn't it? Take care.
