our Saturday

Who's driving this flying umbrella?

Yes, I am here, sorry to have kept you all on pins and needles!

How we spent our Saturday. Well, our 20-Falls was bitter windy cold. Miserable! But, I didn't let that stop me! I powered up and kicked my legs into gear and ran and ran. Training for a beasty 1/2 marathon. My ears have been aching and I have just felt cold all day from that chilly run. But, I ran and ran, 10.5 miles! Not bad for this chic-a-dee!!

Tanner quickly mowed the lawn, brrrr. Nathan fixed Corbie's little Thomas Bike Tire. Corbs has found the brakes and skid power. He skid through the rubber and popped a hold in the tube. He is ready to skid up the pavement again!

Savannah, Tanner and I took off to Target and bought lots of shoes because the shoes around here keep shrinking!
I also bought me some new garden gloves because my pair either up and walked away or blew away. Both possible.

Nathan wanted to take the boys (Tanner and Corbin) on an adventure. So off they went to a Natural Hot Springs where they have a couple of alligators. Corbs loved it and wants to return. They then ventured to see some mighty big Sturgeon. After they decided they needed more adventure off they explored.

I called them, our conversation:
Hi honey, where are you?

Nathan:
I don't know, the gate was locked and so we left the car back there.

Where is back there?
Nathan:
I don't know, we had to hike through poison ivy everywhere! Tanner wants to talk.
(I just want to know where they are!)

Mom, we were in Poison Ivy and there was a clear waterfall, so clear we could hang our tongues out and take a drink.

Me: That is cool, where are you guys?

Tanner: I don't know. But it is really cool. The car is clear back there.

Me: can i talk to Dad?
Me: Where are you guys?

Nathan: I don't know somewhere out here. Corbs had to use the bathroom. That was fun. Tanner said the Trail and poison ivy is scary so that makes this an adventure. A fun adventure.

Me: awesome, how far from home are you?

Nathan: I don't know, a hour or something?
Gotta go, I sent you pictures go look at them.

This is what I had to go on:

Funny huh!

Tanner is having a blast and getting worn out by Corbs who runs up to him and scares him forcing Tanner to run ahead. I may have lost them forever! But, the kids are (they are currently out there somewhere) begging for McDonalds. Civilization!

While they have been like Lewis and Clark, Savannah, Brycen and I went and braved a Saturday afternoon shopping trip to Winco and then made Snickerdoodles for the brave men who are on their way home.

We thought you would like to know all about our Saturday in 20-Falls!

(I really think this was Nathan's way of procrastinating his church talk tomorrow!)
