Brycen-sleeping at home with Daddy who answered doors for a hour then called me via cell phone and informed me lights were out and he was headed to the basement, out of candy. All 300 pieces!! I came home and rounded up about 100 more. That is a lot of kids being caravan-ed in to our subdivision.













Corbin getting Percy to the station, as he puffs along in the leaves to get a wash down. (I cannot see Percy in those leaves, but he is there). I sat and quietly listened to his make-believe chatter for quite some time.

Nathan comes home from work and is put to work as the kid's favorite toy.

This is what Nathan really wants to do when he gets home from work. But, not for long. Blue eyed Corbs loves him too much and can be patient for only so long. (Tanner went and retrieved a blanket for his wanna be winter hibernation). Tanner is very thoughtful that way.

Savannah is a little Girl Scout Daisy, her troop ventured to a recreation spot, of sorts.
With a corn maze and colorful plastic balls, it was sure to be fun.










The kids had fun, but Nathan and I had a blast!
It was quite chilly and we had to really bundle up. It took us about 25 min. to get there, we had to call the owners to get them to open up (opened at 11, we got there at 11, not open). We , climbed the giant dirt hill (covered in grass), donned our awesome Potato Gunny Sacks, then down we went! Butterflies literally flying in our stomach as we got air and flew! Big time Idaho fun! Will we return to Kasota Park, you can count on it.

We went down to Grandma and Granpa's. Tanner drove the tractor with Grandpa. Nathan helped cut down some very tall and very dead poplar trees. One of which we had to dodge to live to tell the tale! Corbin loved feeding the steers apples.

We hiked Mt. Tempanogas Cave. Corbin did very well. Seth, our cousin from Hawaii was here so he got to come too. Tanner loved have Seth around!

One way to cool off after a big hike. We ate lunch by the river and I just KNEW Corbs would be tempted. He was and loved it.

all in 20 mininutes

Man, I worked hard. For the majority of my Monday, I did peaches. I finished the last bottle right before we left to spend our Monday night with another family. A little tired and wanting to sit, but what a satisfying day, Until...

We returned from Family Night, kids in bed, supposedly and I decided the kitchen sink was nasty from all the peach skins. You know a little orange and just plain gross. So, what would any sensible person do? Disinfect with Clorax, of course! I guess 10 pm is a little late to start such a fun project, I put the drain plug in both sinks, poured a little chlorax bleach and, uh oh, nature calls, ran to the facilities. But, I sort of forgot about the sweet self-cleaning happening in the kitchen.
Ooops. The sinks were way filled and now overflowing onto the counters, inside the drawers, cupboards and pouring onto the hardwood floors. Oh the site to behold!
My stomach dropped and a slow sick feeling filled my entire body. I quickly began working on the water mess.
Every drawer and cupboard had to be emptied. The floor sopping wet. I hurried quickly but the water worked harder and made some real damage!









I finally finished soaking up every possible spot, went downstairs to finally shut down the computer and lights to fall into bed, but I heard some 'drip, drip, drip' I looked into the room below the kitchen and the ceiling was dripping!
"What a horrible no good very bad day, that's what day it was",


The floor needed soaking up and the dripping caught. The result, after 3 estimates, my 47 bottles of peaches equate to 132.00 a bottle!

Next "what we did for our Summer Vacation"
We headed to Spanish Fork for the weekend. Our first stop The Golden Spike National Monument, where the East met the West. Location, out in the middle of nowhere. Near a place where rockets are made and top secret stuff like that. But, the kids (especially Corbin) loved seeing the trains. They fired them up and let them run. Corbs was in train heaven!

Then on to Grandma and Grandpa's. Nathan's sister was there from Vermont as well as Nathan's brother that lives in Spanish. Total 8 kids under 8. Busy times, but fun times. Aunt Miranda pulled out the dress ups.

I will be quick, this summer has come and almost gone so so fast! A quick here and there of what we have been up to!

The most important even was the baptism of our Tanner Boy! It was small and so neat! We had G and G's on both sides as well as MJ and Clay (our adopted 3rd set of Grandparents) Tanner's friend Ben and our friends the Adam and Mandy-who is also our Bishop.

Tanner's close friend Jarod was also baptized, so that was neat. Plus, he was baptized on July 4th! How many of us can share that neat date?

I was going to add more but I have kids crying and swimming lessons to get to! So later alligators!

Our hike up a mountain

Most every year, my brother and cousin head up a big adventure. My Grandpa brought his horses to Pine Valley Mountain in St. George, Utah area, each summer. He carved his name in a tree back in 1923, my brother and cousin found the tree, to honor my awesome Grandpa, 52 of us Fullers hiked that mountain this past weekend. Totally awesome experience. I brought Tanner Boy. Brycen stayed home with Nathan and Corbs and Savannah stayed at Grandma Thomsen's.



















This is Tanner hiking about 1/2 way to 3/4 of the way up. It was a beast. Tanner had to rethink things through and made the decision to keep on digging. I was very proud of him. 8 miles and 8miles back down, in one day!















Tanner made it! This is Whipple Valley, totally green and beautiful! The last time I did this hike, we camped, but this year there was too many of us and too much gear so we muscled it out in one day.















We got poured on! I am so glad I packed the ponchos, they really came in handy. We also got hailed on. But, it was so neat to be there.




















Here is the tree, "SF" at the top, then it says Stanley Fuller (hard to read in this picture) and the year, 1922. As well, as LM, for Laurence McMullin, the son of Bro. Keith McMullin of the Presiding Bishopric. Awesome! (nope I am not pregnant, just a little soft and standing real sweet).

All 6 boys of my Grandparents' kids. It was a pretty big undertaking to get them all up there. They sang a song in Grandma's behalf. I grew up with these wonderful men, very special people in my life!

Memorial Day

We went to Clifton for Memorial Day. It is absolutely beautiful there. Very lush and green. Nathan said it reminded him of Ireland. I loved it! We left Sunday right after church and enjoyed a meal with my parents. It was rainy and overcast and quite breathtaking.
We helped Grandpa move the pipe on the park lawn (didn't need watering, but he had water so went for it). We sat out on the porch and watched the rain and clouds come down the mountain.

Tanner got to meet his 2nd cousin, Gideon they hit it off quick.

We then met at the Clifton Cemetery and heard many wonderful stories about my Grandparents and Great Grandparents.
We had a lot of cousins there. I loved seeing everyone!



We heard a lot of stories about my Great Grandmother Melissa Pratt Sant, whom I was named after. She is a grand-daughter of Parley P. Pratt. I loved my Memorial Day! (Oh, my pants are rolled up because the sun came out and I was baking!).
The Lilac Bush behind the grave was planted by my Grandma after her mother died. Our ancestors date back to England are in this cemetery.

What a great weekend!
(Brycen was sleeping in the van for our entire cemetery visit).

Baby Blessing

We had Brycen's Baby Blessing the beginning of this month. Nathan was out of town until Thursday of that week, so my planning, cleaning and prepping was me, myself and I. I must admit, he hauled all the mulch in the wheel barrow then I spread it out. That was a big help. We planted who knows how many flowers. I love flowers and being outside.
The other great thing about that week was that my kids had a horrible cough. Not one you can say "oh, they have a cough", this was one where you had to tell people, "my kids have a really bad cough, so stay away!". I was really worried about Brycen getting it, he did. So, then I worried about him having to go to the hospital cause he was only 6 weeks. He did not. Whew! What a fun week that was! (yes, I dissentfected the house many many times!)
By Saturday, the kids were pretty much healthy, occasional cough. Brycen was in it still. We were still going forward. Sunday, Brycen's cough sounded like an old man, but, he was a star! He was awake for when family showed up before church. Then slept all through church, excpet to be fed. Came home and slept all through dinner! He did GREAT!

We had fun, but I think Corbin and his cousin Mac-a-doo had a blast! You cannot see it, but they are both holding a train, gotta have those trains!





They pushed those trains on that table making all sorts of fun sounds all through dinner. Good thing Grandpa was right by them, cause he sure gave a lot of glares! Loved it! They were conjuring up big plans.

The girls sat at the princess table. They would get off and crawl up to the big people (Grandpa) and scare him. Then they would run away giggleing thinking they got him big time!





so, of course, just like old time sake (cousins) Janie and I (Mother of Mac-a-doo and Carter) had to begin rigging. And we succeeded! She stayed for 2 more days and then she and I met her husband in Snowville. It was great! I love sisters and we got to play the game called Sissa's again! As you see, she is playing the mommy. Brycen is really searching for food, he is hungry!







Brycen and I say "thank you" for coming everyone, we had a wonderful day!

Little Birdies

This is our old bbq, we were just about ready to take it curbside when we noticed some grass and straw hanging out the lid. We opened it up and found these cute little birdies.





















They were 5 cute little blue eggs. Corbin immediately asked if we could eat the "robin eggs". He is like me, I LOVE Robin Eggs. We had to break it to them, these were not candy, they are real! They hatched and look how sweet and "cute" they are!



We can hear them chirping inside the bbq. When we go outside our back door, the mother bird flies out through the side holes of the bbq.

Tanner asks if we can bbq some birds I tell him to ZIP IT!

Other Kid-isms
Corbin has been asking me for a James Thomas the Train. Today he asked about it again. I told him maybe he could ask James for his Birthday. Corbin came back with "Mom, I can't ask James, he cannot talk".

Savannah lost her first tooth today. She was debating whether her teacher should pull it in Kindergarten or have me pull it at home. She told me I can go ahead and pull it and Mrs. Anderson can pull the next one in Kindergarten . I pulled it and I smiled at her and showed her the tooth, she looked back at me and the water began to swell up in her eyes. Then it spilled over, "mom, I don't want my tooth out"...."I miss my tooth already"..."Can we put it back in?"
