So, for that I will try to reconnect you with our world.
June 17-20th-went to YW Girls Camp. It was lots of fun. We went up past Sun Valley about 1 hour. Beautiful country. Bear country too. Luckily we only saw their 'mark' and it was not too fresh. Whew!
I laughed and carried on like I had no worries in the world. (except the possible bears). I thought for sure I was going to be drug out of my tent! The majority of the girls slept in cabins, some in
We got to go rock rapelling. I am sure we were in advance level. But, it was fun. The girls loved it!
This girls camp has showers and cabins and hot food, we were not roughing it, but it was more of a spiritual retreat, no electronic appendages allowed. Nice.
Returned from Girls Camp and my little Corbin was not happy with me being gone. He would not look at me or talk to me for 45 min. of me coaxing. Tough. I missed my little blonde baby boy! Savannah told me "Mom's are suppose to STAY HOME!" I am sure Grandpa Fuller was whispering that into her ear.
The next day I had the Temple Youth Celebration practice for 4 hours in the morning and 3 in the evening. My kids seriously wonder if they have a mom. The Temple Open House begins in a couple weeks. If you want to come and go through you are welcome to stay at our Bed and Breakfast. Finest hotcakes around!
My friend came that next Tuesday with her kids, however, they also brought the stomach flu. So, they left early due to puking and that very night our puking started. Good things travel fast, right? Tanner came into our room "mom, I don't feel good" (me not knowing what is going on at 1 am. "I think I am going to..." (luckily it went on the carpet and not on me), he went about 5 times on our bedroom carpet. Then once in the bathroom (marathon timing to the toliet) and then into the toliet. I was in a shocked moment staring and smelling the sight before me. NASTY! Nathan began cleaning up chunks, which I believe is the gagging part, I got the cleaning stuff and we were on hands and knees working for another hour. Tanner, in the bathroom, quietly said in a very cheerful voice "Ahh I feel much better". Nathan and I look at each other as we are on the floor gagging in throw-up, "I am so glad Tanner, do you want to go to bed" and off he went.
I went out first thing the next morning and bought a puke cleaner upper machine. It took me about 7 hours to entirely disinfect my home. I cleaned all that nasty puke off the carpet, not fun.
Then two nights ago, Savannah thought it would be fun to join the club. But, she did it all in the bathroom. Sweet girl (1 am again) When I got to her, she was trying to clean it up herself.
After a bath we came up with the idea that it would be great to sleep in the tub to prevent any further episodes. She loved the idea!
Our neighbors, MJ and Clay, came over (10:30pm-my exercise time of 5:30 will come WAAAY to soon), we planned our camping trip up to Stanley, Id this Thursday-Saturday. So, I guess I have my work cut out for me to plan for that.
Should be fun.
Happy 4th of July!
