Remember when you had (have?) babies and those first days to a year are all a blur? Our life from November to June was like that. A blur.
We had a lot of baseball games and Corbin loved it! (I did too, I love watching my kids play). We had him in some private lessons (more chasing, but worth it), and he learned a lot. He hit a few homers and his confidence flew sky high!
Corbin played 3rd base most games
The Coach gave Corbin an inning at pitch. He had 3 batters, struck 2 out and the 3rd out was a base hit out at first. |
| look at that stance! |
| Corbin steeling bases, again |
| another score! |
Corbin was super bummed as he could not join the next league, All Stars, as we had our moving date more set in stone, not really, more like mud. His team took 2nd place. What a great season.
| Corbin did a 6 mile walk to a historic farm. I went with him. I ran 5 that morning, then walked 6 with the 4th graders. By the end, I was beat! Fun day with Corbin. |
Savannah gave Volleyball a try. Did not love it, but was very willing to give it a go. She was also a 7th grade ambassador and on the Science Olympiad team as well as a Chorus group. She does not stand idle. So Spring came and she gave Track a go. Relays and the hurdles. Atta girl!!
| This beautiful girl kept herself super busy! Swimming and more swimming |
What a girl!
Savannah also sang in church, babysat her siblings, a lot, and other kids. Went to the temple often. She played absolutely beautiful at her piano recital.
She has plans and dreams and is focused. |
| Tanner's kill for that day. |
Tanner loves anything outside. Chopping wood, making fires for cooking, (not mowing or moving the pods-those pods! Our way of watering the pasture and we despised them)
This spring as I am doing a billion other things, I would drop Tanner off at the BLM and he would hike and walk around for about 3 plus hours. He would shoot jack rabbits search for snakes, and just enjoy being alone.
| Tanner has amazing aim |
| I just liked this picture of Tanner. I am sure he is filling up his canteen. |
| He also took advantage of the Snake River and went kayaking whenever he would beg me enough to get him down there. |
Amongst all our chaos, Tanner started and completed his Eagle Project. And yes, HE did it him self. I helped where needed. But definitely this was his Eagle. Proud of him. He over succeeded the amount of the blood goal for the Red Cross. His Court of Honor, was about three months later at Grandma Thomsen's house. With a few family members. Still just as special. It was neat honoring this tall good looking kid. Proud of him!
Brycen our happy kid, loved his 1st grade teacher. She was a first year teacher and did a fabulous job. He only came home happy. So fun. He lost a few teeth this spring. Chose not to play baseball as last spring, he retired early "because he was pretty much the best kid there". I was A-OK with him not playing as my plate was spilling over!

| mother's day massage and pampering at school |
| his very cute picture he made and gave me a manicure. Loved this day with him! |
| I was Brycen's daddy for Father's Day. He made a very cute tie. Love this kid! |

| Brycen is always up for fun! |

Nathan snagged Brycen and together they went to Ohio. Nathan worked at the office some and they also explored.
Brycen's first airplane ride. |

| Lost a tooth at the zoo! |
| This is my Brycen. Makes me smile. |
Amongst all the above craziness. My sweet Sadie Jane was happy on life. Exploring and playing and getting into and creating. She is all or none. I sure love her!
| Sadie loves her swimming lessons each weeek with Laura |
| What mess? |
| helping "Nanny" make cupcakes |
| all or none, if I am going to create, I am going to create! |
| so sweet and innocent! |
| always a great mommy! |
| Sadie crashed on the driveway |
| ready for school like the big kids! |
| big girl on her big bike! |
| who can resist that mug! |
| who can resist that mug? haha |
The ebb and flow of our Spring. It may all be a blur, but we came out on top! I hope...
