This is Tanner hiking about 1/2 way to 3/4 of the way up. It was a beast. Tanner had to rethink things through and made the decision to keep on digging. I was very proud of him. 8 miles and 8miles back down, in one day!
Tanner made it! This is Whipple Valley, totally green and beautiful! The last time I did this hike, we camped, but this year there was too many of us and too much gear so we muscled it out in one day.
We got poured on! I am so glad I packed the ponchos, they really came in handy. We also got hailed on. But, it was so neat to be there.
Here is the tree, "SF" at the top, then it says Stanley Fuller (hard to read in this picture) and the year, 1922. As well, as LM, for Laurence McMullin, the son of Bro. Keith McMullin of the Presiding Bishopric. Awesome! (nope I am not pregnant, just a little soft and standing real sweet).
Tanner adding his name to the "Fuller Grove". Pretty cool. He signed his name "Tanner Fuller", pretty cute.
All 6 boys of my Grandparents' kids. It was a pretty big undertaking to get them all up there. They sang a song in Grandma's behalf. I grew up with these wonderful men, very special people in my life!
52 of my Grandpa and Grandma's posterity up by the tree in Pine Valley Mountain. Awesome!

I should have guessed that you would do a hiking post before a dancing one. I'm totally impressed by the family hiking skills.
By the way, which sister was I in a comments race with? I won.
Shoot, Mandy. I totally read this post earlier and didn't have time to comment. And there were no comments yet either. So technically, I won.... tee hee
Melissa, I love this post. I loved the trip. You were a real trooper to do it 3 months postpartum! Sorry my man wouldn't let you borrow my baby. :)
Guts,
Awesome, awesome awesome. I loved all of it, except sliding under a horses belly. Good times, good fullers!!
Melissa, this was way touching. This is what it is all about, memories with wonderful family and some pretty neat family history. I hope my posterity will want to honor me like you guys are doing to your ancestors. Super neat!!! This is the stuff that is worth while in life. Take care
Once again, I wish that I were there. We have an amazing family. Great examples, plus good times. G.O. Maryland.
