We went to Clifton for Memorial Day. It is absolutely beautiful there. Very lush and green. Nathan said it reminded him of Ireland. I loved it! We left Sunday right after church and enjoyed a meal with my parents. It was rainy and overcast and quite breathtaking.
We helped Grandpa move the pipe on the park lawn (didn't need watering, but he had water so went for it). We sat out on the porch and watched the rain and clouds come down the mountain.
Tanner got to meet his 2nd cousin, Gideon they hit it off quick.
We then met at the Clifton Cemetery and heard many wonderful stories about my Grandparents and Great Grandparents.
We had a lot of cousins there. I loved seeing everyone!
We heard a lot of stories about my Great Grandmother Melissa Pratt Sant, whom I was named after. She is a grand-daughter of Parley P. Pratt. I loved my Memorial Day! (Oh, my pants are rolled up because the sun came out and I was baking!).
The Lilac Bush behind the grave was planted by my Grandma after her mother died. Our ancestors date back to England are in this cemetery.
This is my Grandma and Grandpa's grave.
I knew them so well and did so much with them.
What a great weekend!
(Brycen was sleeping in the van for our entire cemetery visit).

I'm happy you had a nice trip. It looks like your family took over that cemetary! I like the idea of hearing stories about the people you are visiting.
Corbin's expression is crackin' me up...I think next time he'll be asking for you to leave him in the car too ;)
Thanks for posting all this - I love seeing Clifton in all its green glory! And I'm glad you told us why your pants were rolled up. :)
And tell your friend Mandy that next time you post I WILL be the first to comment...
THanks for posting pictures. I am so sad I didn't come, Bird said it was lots of fun. Plus, your kids are the cutest.
Guts,
It was good times, You forgot to mention the amazing potato salad that you were asked to bring!
To Mandy-we did take over the cemetary, didn't we figure there were about 40-50 people there? I love the Fullers and all of our traditions, Can't wait for Father's Day and all the freakin pie you can eat!!
Could a Fuller really try to take over something?
Dang, it's bad when it's a picture of your own family, and you don't recognize lots of the peeps in the picture.
looks like you all had a great long weekend. It does look beautiful up there.
