Stimulating the economy

In the beginning....(nathan-"oh man, sheesh, call in the troops!")

We decided it was our American duty to help the economy out of this recession. We bought the big play structure at Costco for our little yard. I think it sort of looks like a yacht in a pond. The kids and neighbors love it!

Nathan slaved on it for about 3 days. The kids 'helped'. Corbie found some of the little screws and help to scatter them across the lawn. So helpful! Tanner helped to build the rock wall and Savannah contributed by playing with Corbie so we could work.

After it was finished YES! we then had to seal it from the rain/sprinklers. That is where I came in. Nathan had to take over because I had a mutual activity. He did a huge body spread on the top of the roof to reach the far corner. (have to seal everything right?) I am thinking he is pretty much lucky he did not crash right down on his head!

We have big plans for sleep outs in our fort, Savannah and neighbor girls play serious "house" in it and Tanner and friends play pirates. Corbin just goes up and down the slide all day long, happy as can be.

He loves to swing "undog mom" "undog mom" (underdog mom!)

Wow - now THAT'S a playset!! Can we come play? Maybe if we ride our bikes all the way we can come... You know, gas prices really stink. What a kid's paradise! Now you are the most popular family on the block!

Did yours come with a real baby swing? Ours has only a buckle in front...not safe!

Nathan needs to ask for help, you know. Then we don't feel guilty for all the times we ask him for help!

It's a good thing that there are three kids and three swings!

We always said that we would get one of these someday, and now that the kids are older (and still ask for one) we tell them to go to their friends house and play on it :)

Guts, that is one awsome playset. It does look big in your little backyard. I am sure glad the kids enjoy it. Way to help the economy!

That's a sweet playset Guts. I remember always begging for one of those my whole childhood life. Your kids are gonna love it and have so many fun memories there.

Gutts you dog, my kids also beg for that playset everytime we go to Costco. Josh says, go play in the woodpile each time they ask. Now we for sure have to come to twenty someday, hopefully sooner rather than later. I hope your kids rock the neighborhood with that thing.
